Just after dawn, a ferocious little storm cell kicked up over the Canola fields and caught us along way from the safety of the car. There’s certainly something about getting caught outside in a storm that gets the old adrenaline pumping. After the initial front passed over, this bolt dropped from the inky black clouds in perfect contrast to the luminous yellow flowers below.
