This sunset was far and away the most intense light show I've ever witnessed. A bank of high cloud had lingered across the coast all day and was positioned in the most perfect place to catch the rays of the setting sun. I ensured I left early to get a great position to photograph these amazing conditions and had a front row seat at Long Jetty as the sky simply exploded. The water turned into a giant, shimmering carpet of molten liquid and it was an astonishing few minutes witnessing the full glory of Mother Nature.
